Family Game Day Foodie: Arizona Cardinals vs. Indianapolis Colts

September 14, 2017

I think after last week's game against the Lions, we could all use a drink.  Maybe a few.  I really need to relax and hit the re-set button, and this is the perfect way to do it!  It's another early, away game, so start the day off right with breakfast and cocktails!

If you're in Indianapolis, you're a bit uncertain as far as quarterback go, but hey...at least you get to revel in the cool temperatures of fall.  It may even be a bit chilly as you're tailgating early on Sunday morning, so put some of my warm, Luckless Apple Cider in a big coffee tumbler and you'll feel no pain soon enough!  My preferred breakfast food pairing of choice...warm cinnamon sugar donuts!

For those of us still melting in the heat of the Arizona desert, a cool, salty margarita is ALWAYS the answer...for everything. This one is a delicious "Red Sea" version with some mixed berry fruit juice and fresh raspberries.  These are great with breakfast burritos!
